I have done EMDR since 2008, been certified since 2012, been an acolyte of Deany Laliotis, LICSW since about that time, too. I have just begun the CIT process in October of 2020, so I am taking on consultees for groups and individual consultation. I bring an attachment theory focus to the process and I am very conscious of self-of-therapist issues that can arise in this work. Contact me for a follow up conversation and let's get started on our journey together!

I offer individual and group EMDR consulting currently via Zoom. Consulting can be used toward EMDR Certification, as needed appointments, or a regular appointment just to have an outlet to review EMDR/difficult cases. I limit EMDR consulting groups to 6 participants. If one day you would like to give a letter of recommendation, I will need to see you demonstrate EMDR via video or live demo, which is the best way to make sure you are offering EMDR adherent techniques.

I am a consultant-in-training under Sherry McKisson. I have been practicing EMDR since August 2021 and I use it daily in my private practice with teens and adults. I am experienced with using EMDR with clients who have depression, anxiety disorders, Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, childhood trauma, and general negative beliefs. I consider myself an interactive therapist, supervisor, and consultant. I will actively listen and reflect but also provide constructive ideas to help with your concerns. I like to use humor and have a more outgoing personality. I am an eclectic and dynamic therapist and I also use techniques such as CBT, DBT, ERP, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal psychotherapy in combination with EMDR.

| Are you in need of EMDR consultation? I love supporting fellow clinicians on their journey to mastering EMDR! My niche is Relational and Attachment Trauma. My clients often have ACEs as well as AAEs (Adverse Adulthood Experiences). My adult clients are often high-performing individuals with highly successful careers who aren't experiencing success in their personal relationships (familial, intimate, and platonic). They typically have insecure attachment styles. Their anxiety shows up as perfectionism, and they often overcompensate in their relationships are or overly critical of their partners. So, it causes them great discontentment. I also work with children surviving trauma, mostly sexual abuse, who present with aggressive behaviors and dissociation. I'd love to support you on journey. | Hello and Welcome! |
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I am Certified in EMDR and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant (AC). I am currently accepting new clients and consultees. My background is in Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR. I work well with clients from many different backgrounds and presenting issues, including those with recent or past trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, life changes, and more. Clients that may also be a good fit could be creative types, neurodivergent, children, teens, college-aged, therapists, adults, executives, and more. EMDR is a treatment I chose to specialize in because it can help clients to diffuse an emotional charge around a trauma in a different way than traditional talk therapy. When clients are able to reduce an emotional charge, clients will often report they feel less anxiety, have improved mood, or "feel more like myself". This may help them to function more effectively in their daily life. I also enjoy consulting with other EMDR clinicians on how they can improve their EMDR skills to more fully benefit their clients. I am accepting EMDR consultees who have taken EMDR Basic Training and are seeking to be certified in EMDR or would just like to improve their skills in a supportive, engaging learning environment. I offer individual and group consultation. My groups are held several days monthly.
