For the EMDR Professional

Finding an EMDR Consultant

Looking for an EMDRIA Approved Consultant to further expand your knowledge, confidence, and quality of EMDR services?

Consultation is an essential part of mastering the art of EMDR and providing quality care.  It involves keeping therapists up to date on the latest research, provides education on prominent EMDR protocols, and assists in mastering the EMDR 8-phase, 3-pronged approach.

EMDR Consultation, in an individual and group format, can be used toward your Certification hours or can be provided just for your continued focus on quality treatment and a regular outlet for your complex cases.

We have wonderful and seasoned therapists in Georgia that have acquired the status of EMDRIA approved EMDR consultants.

Upcoming Community Events/Training

This Georgia EMDR Network strives to bring 1-2 prominent EMDR presenters to our area every year as well as many regular local networking events and local presenters.

Upcoming Trainings:

March 15th, 2024 at 9am-12pm  EST  ZOOM webinar presentation “Greasing the Wheels for EMDR:  Practical, Ethical, and Safe Target Planning” with the lively and informative Daniel Mitchell PhD, EMDRIA Certified Clinician and Approved Consultant and CE Provider.  In this workshop, participants will learn new and innovative methods for resourcing, practical target planning, and learn the Flash Technique for use in preparation for desensitization while the patient maintains the ability to stay in their affective window of tolerance. This workshop will be most useful for EMDR clinicians who have patients who are having difficulty getting to the desensitization process (phases 3-7) due to many reasons including not being able to tolerate the prospect to processing their trauma experiences.

In this 3 hour webinar, Dan will review and enhance our learning on Resourcing, Treatment Planning, and teach the Flash technique!  EMDRIA Ceus approved, Georgia SW and LPC Ceus will be applied for.  (Eligibility for EMDRIA Credits is restricted to those who have completed an EMDRIA-Approved Basic EMDR Training.)  Webinar will be recorded for review by paid attendees, however for this GA EMDR Network sponsored event only live attendees can receive CEUs.       Low fee of $25-35!!  Eventbrite registration:  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/greasing-the-wheels-for-emdr-practical-ethical-and-safe-target-planning-tickets-826358680057
