Jeremy Fox, LPC CPCS is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and academic author who offers consultation toward completion of EMDRIA basic training. He also provides consultation for EMDR certification as well as approved consultant status. He believes in providing consultees with a rich foundation in the adaptive information processing model and case conceptualization, so that they may confidently resolve blocked reprocessing. Jeremy is licensed in both Georgia and Colorado. Jeremy successfully uses EMDR therapy to address a variety of clinical concerns, including trauma, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. He is also specially trained in treating dissociation, complex PTSD, and attachment trauma. He is well versed in ego state interventions, cognitive interweaves, and attachment-based modifications to the EMDR protocol. Jeremy's article Recovery, Interrupted: The Zeigarnik Effect in EMDR Therapy and the Adaptive Information Processing Model is featured in the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research fall 2020 issue. The publication highlights the significance of interruptions (check-ins and eye movement) to EMDR treatment effectiveness. |
